Making Bath Bombs

Ingredients:

1 Cup Baking Soda
3/4 Cup Citric Acid
2 Tbsp White Kaolin Clay
1 Tbsp Grape Seed Oil
2 Tsp Poly Sorbate 80
Vitamin E Oil
1 Tsp Fragrance Oil
1/4 Tsp Borax Power
1/4 Tsp Gel Colorant
12 Spritzers Of Alcohol

Put on plastic gloves before you begin this recipe.
Mix together in a small glass bowl the grape seed oil, poly sorbate 80, fragrance oil, vitamin e and colorant. After completely mixed, add borax powder.
In a medium sized glass bowl combine the baking soda, citric acid, and kaolin clay.
Using your hands mix the liquid mixture into the dry mixture using 3-4 full large "swoops", then spray 4 squirts of alcohol. Do this 3 times until the texture is the consistency of sand. This means that when all ingredients are combined you should be able to make a ball of the mixture into your hand that keeps its form (like damp sand).
Take your bath bomb molds and pack both halves with the mixture tightly. Make sure there's lots of excess mix in the middle of the two molds before you bring them together to make the circle. Bring the two halves of the mold together tightly, twisting to the size rather than pushing together. Excess material will fall off so do this over the bowl. When the 2 plastic molds are touching to make the circle, gently "pinch" the mold away from the mixture leaving it in one tight compact ball.
Ball should be left out for 24-48 hours to firm, then wrap in plastic and voila!
